Kindergarten Ready
Todd, Payson and I attended Kindergarten Orientation a few weeks ago, and I would be sort of sad thinking of Payson being ready for this next milestone, but then he takes a picture like this, and I just have to laugh.
Payson - The Future Flag Football Star
Payson has expressed a lot of interest in flag football. Not sure if he knew exactly what he was getting into with this sport we found an amazing flag football clinic run through South Suburban Rec. This program was great - four saturday mornings and Payson had a blast. To quote Todd - "This is so much better then soccer!" That being said, I am not sure who had more fun, Todd or Payson.
Dillon had a fun time watching the action, he just needed lots of snacks to stay entertained!
First there were drills -
The the next week the practice game.
First was defense.
Next was offense.
Love his touchdown dance!
Payson's mean defensive face!
Thanks Coach John - looking forward to the football season in the fall!

Spring Time Fun Part 2
The fun continues...Super Heros are so popular around here, almost every play date ends up in the costumes!
Payson was so proud to show us around the famous St. Luke's Little School Art Show. The school announced the next day they had close to 2000 people attend the show!
Dillon's favorite part of the spring is bringing back the bounce house. He asks about this every day - and because he is so cute, he usually gets his way! Love this picture because I caught him mid jump!
And since I have just mentioned how cute Dillon was, I had to share the amazing video. I am researching some eating contests for Dillon since this is pretty incredible!
It is not always fun around here, sometimes Daddy puts the boys to work on saturday mornings getting the cars washed!

Spring Time Fun Part 1
What a crazy spring we have had, and that has nothing to do with us, instead the weather. We seem to get a snow storm every Monday or Tuesday. Then a few days later it is 70 degrees, and then wham-o, we get more snow. We have been lucky to take advantage of the 70 degree weather with some fun activities.
Visiting the Denver Zoo with our friend Hudson was a blast! Dillon was rocking the sunglasses in the car ride.
The boys have been spending a lot of time in the backyard - the swing set is proving to be an excellent investment.

All the boys needed to cover their ears on the train from the whistle!

Payson worked hard to build this and it was so detailed, I had to just record him explaining everything to me.
We have had some great playdates with friends and the best is how tired the kids are on the way home. Cracks me up every time. Then when we get home the boys are tired and are great for some snuggle time.

Butterfly Pavilion
We visit a lot of the Kid Friendly Exhibits around Denver, but we had never been to the Butterfly Pavilion. How fun to experience this great place with our cousins from Fort Collins. Everyone had a blast and I was extremely proud of Payson for being brave enough hold Rosie the tarantula.
We can't wait to go back again soon!
