Pinterest Addiction
Yep, I am pretty much addicted to Pinterest. I have tried many recipes, some good, some bad, but still fun to try something new. I pin so many style and decorating ideas too. I decided on a cold snowy day we needed to do an art project - Thank you Pinterest.
I tried to get a picture of Dillon and his masterpiece, but he kept putting it in front of his face. He was saying "cheese" behind the canvas!
Happy Valentine's Day 2013
Valentine's Day turned into a Valentine's Week as Dillon had a party at his school on Monday and Payson had a party at his school on Wednesday. Our celebrations lasted all week long. Todd took the boys shopping for my gift and they had been home about 5 minutes before Dillon announced that he had bought me a new purse. Luckily Dillon likes to shop at the Coach store and I love it!
On Valentine's Day the boys were excited to get a little bag of goodies from Mommy and Daddy. They both sat down right away to start coloring with their new crayons and markers.
Since I had to work in the evening, we decided to go have lunch with Daddy at his office. First we needed to make some yummy treats for everyone at the office! Had to laugh when I looked at this picture - anyone else notice how Dillon tried to "sneak" a cookie!
The best treat for the boys was their M&M Light Sabers. This was the best thing for both of them. I attempted a Valentine Photo, but they were too interested in their Light Sabers. Don't ya love Dillon's Valentine's Day shirt?
Having lunch with Daddy is too fun. The boys love walking around the seed room.
Later that night we had our own Star Wars Battle - these were the best candy toys ever!
Poor Disney Cat
As most of you know, Todd is in love with our wood burning fire place. It is pretty much the reason why we bought this house. We have enjoyed many fires this winter and the boys love to help crinkle up the paper to get the fireplace started. Disney the cat has found that she loves sleeping in front of the fire. We had just finished dinner the other night when Dillon walked over and saw Disney sleeping in front of the fire. Of course she ran from him, but here is what he had to say about Disney. Too funny!

Crazy February Activites
The month of February is crazy - it is short, but we always manage to fill it with a lot of activities. We go from snow to 60 degrees,so on a nice day we hit up the zoo. The zoo is a place we always have a great time, how fun to enjoy lunch outside. We treated ourselves to ice cream cones!
Dillon loves anything to do with Cars - especially the music. He was singing along in the car and tried to get a great video - got to love big brothers!
We have been to the pool, and Payson invited his buddy Jake to attend the Monster Truck Jam at the Pepsi Center.
Playing in the what used to be our Living Room, but now is referred to as the Toy Room.
Hanging out at Home Depot for a birthday party - always fun to hand a group of 20 kids their own hammers!
Visiting Ruby - the newest addition at the Rooney household. Hudson and Grayson have a new basset hound puppy. Payson is so jealous, but knows that Daddy is only potty training one thing at a time. We have said we can start to discuss a dog once Dillon is out of diapers!
I am sure all of our activities have been tiring to look at - check out how Dillon felt one night at dinner. Pretty much fell asleep with a spoon in his mouth!
Ski School Continued...
More ski lessons for Payson in February, and he is improving every time. His last lesson was great as Todd and I were able to enjoy a rare ski date. Nonnie was watching Dillon for the day and of course he was loving his time with Nonnie and cousin Mattias. Todd and I checked in on Payson a few times throughout the day, man, those ski instructors deserve combat pay. The amount of kids we saw crash into their teachers - WHOO.
Looking good on the Magic Carpet.
Here is a great video of how Payson is improving - do not mind the runaway kid in the video!
Although Payson is loving skiing, his favorite part is hanging with his cousins at the Keystone house.
Cartoons in their jammies was too cute to not document!
Now Hiring for Snow Removers
A couple of the older boys on our street would love to earn some extra money by shoveling the snow from our sidewalk. Not necessary - I have two of the greatest helpers. Well, maybe not the best helpers, but they are pretty cute! We are working on using the right tools - Payson opted for a broom and Dillon was using a shovel from the sandbox.
Oh well, I got a good workout out of this adventure.
