A Perfect Fall Day at the Farm

We had the greatest day today - we checked out an amazing farm in Longmont with our friends Zane and his baby sister Reese. This place is amazing, treehouses, animals, sandboxes, ziplines, and hay bales - so many fun things for kids. I recommend that everyone check this place out!

All of the trees had great big swings for everyone to enjoy!

This little boy loves to swing!

Everything was so kid friendly - tons of old tractors and wagons for the kids to climb on.

Climbing through the hay bale tunnels and walking across the bridges was Payson favorite part of the day!

This chicken house was amazing - full of corn and trucks. Random combination, but perfect for little boys to play in!

We pretty much had to pry Zane off of the zipline!

Dillon had a great time visiting with the animals - we checked out horses, goats, sheep, chickens, turkeys, even turtles!

This bricks were the coolest and biggest legos I have ever seen!

Two silly boys taking a break in the biggest sand box i have ever seen!

A Very Dr. Suess 1st Birthday Party

We had a great time celebrating Dillon's 1st Birthday. We were so lucky to have family fly in from both California and Chicago, the weather was perfect all weekend long and as you can see from the video highlight, Dillon really enjoyed his cake!

The morning started with Dillon's Baptism at Trinty United Methodist Church. Dillon loved the attention he received, he was paraded around the sanctuary and made eye contact with everyone!

The theme for the party was a Dr. Suess theme, and it was so much fun to gather all of the fun and colorful decorations!

Dillon was not sure about his cake at first, but once he got a taste of the icing, he stuck his head right in. Payson was shocked that I was letting Dillon make such a mess, but he was having so much fun there was no way we could take that cake away from him!

After cupcakes were enjoyed by everyone, Uncle Ryan opened up a washing station. Dillon and Porter were his only customers, but the hose was definately needed on both of them!

Once Dillon received a bath and changed clothes, he was able to check out some of the fantastic presents he received. I still think he liked the wrapping paper and tissue paper the most!

All of the kids enjoyed their Dr. Seuss Hat with their goody bags - it was fun to get some great pictures of our party guests!

By the end of the day, you can see that the cake was demolished.

Friends were passed out.

Daddy was exhausted!

All signs of a good party!

The next morning....
Balloons are probably the best thing for a 1 year old - Dillon loves them. He somehow got tangled up in all of the balloons and scooted around with them all morning!

Payson's 1st Soccer Practice

Payson had his first soccer practice last week, and he was lucky to have some of his good buddies at soccer also. Finn, Sami, and Jake are all trying soccer for the first time. Personally I do not know what is funnier, all of the kids running around carrying their soccer balls, or all of the parents running after them taking photos and videos!

Payson is loving all of the silly games the coaches have them play...

but, I think half way through the practice Payson started to question the ablities of the coaches - ha, ha! This face pretty much is saying - Do you really know what you are talking about?

I think he is one good looking soccer player!

Dillon was sporting his CSU Jersey in hopes they would be able to beat the Buffs that day! I think this first photo is how Dillon is now treating the paparazzi - TOO MANY PHOTOS!
