Sumer is winding down.....

But we are still managing to have a lot of fun.  This is what our couch looks like during cartoon time - it takes a lot to get comfortable.

To end the summer Todd decided that a boys sleepover in the backyard was a great idea.  Brewer was excited to share his backyard and get in the tent with the boys.

The girls enjoyed a quiet evening in the house, I delivered popcorn to the tent while they watched a movie - not really roughing.  Disney got brave enough to even drink water out of Brewer's dish.

Running through the fountains at the park is a great way to cool down....

and checking out the new Children's area at the Denver Nature and Science Museum.
Before school started we got up to Keystone for one last summer visit.  Even more fun that cousin Mattias and new baby cousin Nicholas were up there also!

The hair on this baby is awesome.

Kidtopia in River Run is the best place to spend the afternoon.

Finished up our baseball season.

The night before the first day of school, Payson lost a front top tooth.  Added to the excitement when having dinner at Nana and Granddad's house.

Bring on 1st Grade!

4th of July 2014

Headed up to Keystone for the 4th of July weekend - it was so much fun to see cousins and friends.  A chilly start to the day was perfect for the Kid's Fishing Derby at Keystone Lake, now that we know the secret is in the bacon grease for bait, we came prepared!

Dillon did get a little bored fishing, so we headed over to the park to play.

Susie was impressed with her catch, but did not want to look at it!

Next we headed up the Gondola to listen to some live music, and meet the Rich Family.

Home for a little relaxing in the hammock.

After a great BBQ dinner, we had the Sollenberger Girls come over for Sparklers on the golf course.  When it got dark, everyone headed back to the village to watch the fireworks except for Dillon and I - TOO LOUD!

Payson definitely has taken after Todd with the love of fishing - the next day started early with some fly fishing on the river.

After they came back, we went over to River Run with cousin Porter to check out the Kid's Fest - all three boys would of stayed here for HOURS - actually we did - it was so much fun.
No better way to describe this as one GIANT Kid's bubble bath!

Dancing to the music!

Then the best part - Bungee Flying!
