November Happenings 2014

After getting through all of our Family celebrations in October it is nice to settle down a little bit in November before the craziness of Christmas begins.  I had to document this picture of Disney because she has FINALLY accepted Payson.  And she is always looking for a warm lap, so Payson has finally gotten her approval.  We were able to head to Colorado Springs for Clayton's first birthday party.  We love to get to spend time with the Rich's - and Clayton is one spoiled little boy - as he should be!

Payson participated in a basketball camp this month and his skills are constantly getting better.  One of the most fun things that happened this month was Grand Dad attended Grandparent's day at school.  Payson really liked hearing more about how Grand Dad grew up in New York City.

CSU vs. Air Force Football Game - November 2014

It was a beautiful fall day and time to take the boys to their first CSU Tailgate.  The Rams were playing the Air Force Falcons so we headed down south to cheer on the Rams.  The boys were very excited and as soon as we got to the parking lot Payson wanted to throw the football around!  We ate lunch at our tailgate and then headed into the game.  We meet up with the Rich Family and realized we had purchased some great seats.  The boys all loved being so close the field.  We loved seeing all of the fly overs before the game and we were right there near the end zone when a touch down was scored.  Unfortunately the Rams lost, but we are already looking forward to our next game!

Halloween 2014

Halloween has so many great events and Payson knew he wanted to be Captain Jack Sparrow, but Dillon had a hard time deciding.  Good thing he could change his mind for each activity.  The Streets of Southglen has a fun Trick Or Treat Street where we were able to paint pumpkins at Whole Foods with cousin Owen.

Change of costume, change of venue - Boo at the Zoo with Mickey and Captain Jack!  Josh and Natalie Heydt joined us for some fun candy gathering at the zoo.

Heading to school parade and party - this time Captain Jack is trying out the wig that came with the costume.

I used my Mommy Super Powers to race from one School Parade to the Pre School parade  - I was impressed I made it!

Disney was staying close to the candy bowl while Brewer went Trick or Treating with us.
