Easter 2012 was a great day to celebrate.
Up bright and early to check out the loot delivered by the Easter Bunny. We had very sports themed baskets!
Rounding up everyone in their Republican vests for church.
Had to get some photos in front of all of the great tulips!
After church we came home to play with our new toys, and found that the Easter Bunny had stopped by with more yummy goodies!
Dillon could not decide what sport he wanted to try!
Two cute Easter Buddies!
Easter 2012 had some amazing weather. This lead to many Easter Egg Hunts. I think the boys and I attended six different hunts, but one of our favorites was held at Westlands Park hosted by our good friends. We had a blast on the playground, but then got down to serious business on the hunt. After the hunt was over you can see the boys compared their loot!
This is a little late for Dillon's 18 month post, but I just had to get something in the blog becuase Dillon cracks us up on a daily basis. He has recently started talking so much more, but he answers "no" to every question, so we just all smile and nod and keep talking to him. Payson tries to correct him, but it is still always "no"! Dillon really wants to do everything that Payson does, so he spends the majority of his time being Payson's shadow. As far as big brothers go, Payson is awesome! The weather has been so great, we spend a lot of time playing outside with friends.
As you can see from this dancing video, Dillon has some serious dance moves!
This pretty much melts my heart every time I watch it.
Too cool in sunglasses - Dillon has decided that he loves to wear sunglasses all the time. Seriously, both inside and outside. As you can see, he found a very manly pair of shades, but at the store he was liking the reactions he was getting with the pink polk-a-dots! Even Payson found a great new pair!
Denver Zoo - our favorite spot - pretty much try to go there every few weeks!
While our house was on the market, we started to run out of ideas of what to do. One saturday with great weather, Payson went to his buddies house and Dillon joined us for a beer on the patio. As you can he is really reviewing the menu to decide what the best thing was to order. Todd was in heaven with the bear flight!
Dillon has decided that he wants a "poon" for every meal. That works great until I look over and he has his bowl of food on his face. As you can see, this bowl of yogurt for breakfast led to a mid-morning bath!
We love the rec centers by our house, and Dillon is proving that he loves to swim as much as Payson does. Once Dillon figured out the slide, I think he did it about 100 times before we had to force him to go. Payson starts swim lessons again next month and he is so excited!
Dillon has fallen in love with Buzz Lightyear, one afternoon I got out the Halloween costumes and it was amazing to see how much Payson has grown. He barely fit in them, but Dillon was loving them!
Although we have not had much of a winter this year, one snowy day I had some help out front when I was shoveling. Dillon must take after his Dad because he would rather have the lawn mower out vs. the shovel! Yep....do you see that sign in the yard? We placed the house on the market in mid-February. We have now been on the market for about 6 weeks and we have had a ton of showings, a few undesirable offers and we are just trying to stay positive and know that something will come through. I am just hoping sooner, rather than later. Keeping the house spotless is HARD!
