Decking the Halls...
Being in the new house for the Holidays has been so fun to decorate. Not sure if Todd would agree because most days he gets home from work and I have a decorating project to help me with.
First thing we had to do, set up the Christmas tree.
The boys immediately got to work decorating the tree.
Does anyone notice anything wrong with this picture?
There, that is better.
We decided to try out the timer on the camera, we got this photo on the first try. Todd and I were amazed.
Happy Thanksgiving 2012
We had a great Thanksgiving 2012 - Aunt Mimi and Uncle Alan flew in from Santa Monica, CA and had to bring extra luggage for all of the Cars toys they gifted the boys. Payson and Dillon are still talking about how awesome they think Aunt Mimi is! We had a great Thanksgiving feast at Nana's house but I forgot to take any pictures.
Payson showing off some awesome hats made at school.
Dillon's artwork for his school - too funny, I never noticed he had six fingers!
Getting ready to go to Nana's...
The combination of a big day of playing and turkey cause Dillon to pass out on the couch!
The day after Thanksgiving we have started a new tradition at the Land Family. While everyone is out shopping we are going to movies. Aunt Mimi and Uncle Alan were able to join in the fun at Wreck It Ralph in 3D.
Warm November Day = Great Day for the Zoo
Daddy had a weekday off due to traveling over the weekend, the weather was awesome, so we headed down to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.
The Giraffes were very excited to see us.
Check out the tongue - gross!
We spend a lot of time watching the gorillas - there was a 3 month old baby that was so cute.
Kicking Off the Holiday Season
I am so glad that Thanksgiving was early this year because we needed the extra week to squeeze in all of the fun activities we have planned. Our Thanksgiving week started off with a visit down to the North Pole in Colorado Springs with our friends the Frary's and the Gerdes's. All the kids had a blast on the rides and the highlight was stopping by Santa's house to say hello.
Drake, Payson and Zane - this is what you get when you ask to take a picture of three little boys!
Dillon and Reese checking out the map and deciding our plan of attack.
Poor Lauren - she was not sure about this ride, the boys were excited.
Payson and Drake loved the big kid roller coaster!
Hunter was a great sport to ride the roller coaster MANY times!
Caught the boys all dancing to the music from the singing elf!
Important to get your Christmas requests in early....
The sign of a good day, Reese is exhausted and fell asleep a few minutes before we left - too funny not to take a picture!
We can not wait to go back soon - next time hopefully Daddy can come with us.
