Happy 5 Months

In honor of Dillon turning 5 months old yesterday we decided to try a bowl of rice cereal. Todd and I think he was excited becuase lately he has been really interested in watching us eat. The other day he sat in my lap while I ate dinner and every time the fork went into my mouth he would laugh. It was hard to finish my meal becuase he made me laugh and choke on each bite! Regardless of Dillon being 5 months old, he has decided it is necessary to wake up many times a night - NOT COOL! So we are hoping that a full belly makes for a sleep through the night kind of baby! Keep your fingers crossed.

So excited he tried to eat his bib!

Concentrating very hard - both Dillon and Mommy

Check out those thighs - need I say more?

My Two Favorite Valentine's

Yes, Todd has taken third in the category of my favorite Valentine's. Dillon and Payson are tied for 1st. I am sorry, but Todd could not look as cute as these two do in the Valentine's Day shirts!

This one is a favorite of mine - Payson reminds me of Joey from Friends- "How you doing?"

Enjoying the winter snow

Finally after many days of below freezing temps we were able to get outside and enjoy the snow. Payson wanted to build a Frosty the Snowman, so that is exactly what we did. He told us that it would require a hat on Frosty's head to make him magical. We only had a cowboy hat...not sure if it was exactly magical, but it sure was fun.

Dillon came out in his jammies after his morning nap to check on the finished product.

After Dillon went down for his afternoon nap (and Payson decided not to nap) we went out to the backyard to protect the yard from pirates!

The Little Brother

This shirt makes me laugh.

It makes me laugh because little is not usually the word that is used to describe Dillon.

The word I use to describe Dillon is adorable, huggable, kissable and handsome. Ok, that is four words. I could of listed a lot more.

The 2025 X-Games SuperStar

So after watching the X-Games, Payson has been asking about skiing. A lot. In fact, he wanted to know when we we are going to take him to a half pipe to learn to ski. We had to break it to him that we would not start there on our first lesson. Todd was so excited that Payson wanted to get skiing that he raced him up there last week and they had a great time.

Look out - we might have a super skier in the making!

Going, Going, Gone

Too cute not to share.

Because 1 Batman is not enough

So, dressing the boys up in matching outfits is not something we do all the time. But, who could pass up these adorable Batman shirts.

The shirts are so cute that we had to set up a photo shoot with our favorite friends - Payson, Hudson, Dillon and Grayson are great Batmans!

Cowboy Payson

You probably remember that Payson's Big Boy room is a cowboy theme. So, he was very excited to go to the National Western Stock Show this year. DIllon's cowboy hat does not quite fit him yet, so he stayed home with Nana and Grandad. Dillon was spoiled at home and Payson was spoiled at the Rodeo. Next year for sure Dillon will be attending with us!

RInging in the New Year....Keystone Style

The family loaded up the car - and it was loaded with stuff - and headed up to Keystone for New Years. Payson was thrilled to celebrate the holiday with cousins Susie and Porter. Even more fun was Payson's 1st sledding adventure. Let's just say - he loved it and we had to make it come inside. It is hard to sled in the dark

Christmas Celebrations 2010

Christmas was extra special this year - Payson was so into the holidays and it was so fun that we are now a family of four with Dillon. Todd and I know that we need to enjoy the fact the Payson did not wake up until 7:30am and we had to wake Dillon up around 9:00am. We are sure that we are going to be waking up a LOT earlier next year. Santa had an extra large sleigh when stopping at our house!
