Labor Day Weekend 2011

Labor Day weekend was a blur of fun activities. The festivities started on Thursday evening when Todd and I attended Back to School night for Payson's preschool. So much fun to meet the teachers and see the classroom. The teachers even tasked us with drawing a picture of our child. Let's just say that Todd and I were not meant to be artists!
Friday night was a great get together at our house since the Keaveney's came to visit from California. We had a great time with the Radamacher, Blanchard, and Klassen crew. Sitting around drinking with friends is a little different then a few years ago. But throw in a big bounce house and all the kids, both big and small had fun!

Saturday morning we headed up to Fort Collins to have some fun with the entire Land Family. A lot of us had not seen Jon and Christina since they left for Peru last August. Even better then seeing Jon and Christina was meeting Mattias - the newest cousin. He is one easy going baby that makes everyone want to nap when they held him. Todd thought it was the perfect excuse to nap all day! Good thing Mattias is so calm, because you throw together Payson, Dillon, Porter, Susie and you have a lot of noise! The afternoon was made even more fun when Jon and Annie brought over their three girls. Payson loved being the Knight to save all the Princesses from the castle!

A great picture of the Land Men and their crews!

Sunday afternoon we headed over to Martinez Farm in Fort Collins and had a blast with the pony rides and walking around the farm.
Funny that the smallest horse rider, Porter choose the largest horse!

Payson had a blast with his cousins!

I ended the weekend running a 10 mile race in Denver called the Park to Park 10 Miler. It was a great day for a race, but I am not sure that long distance running is for me. I was so SORE. I think I might stick to perfecting my 10k time, Ha, Ha, who knows what I will get talked into next year!
