Land Cousin Christmas Gift Exchange

We had a great time celebrating Christmas a little early with all of our Land Cousins.  With travel schedules, it was hard to get together right on Christmas, so the boys were thrilled to do a gift exchange a little early!

 After gifts, we had another fun celebration to learn if the newest cousin is going to be a Boy or a Girl.  He will be making his debut in May!

Santa Sighting #2

It is now becoming a tradition to visit Santa at Bass Pro Shop.  That store can entertain us for hours.  Cousin Owen can with us and had never officially visited Santa before.  Owen is not a fan of characters at Disneyland, so we were unsure of how he would do, but he did great.  Poor Payson - he does not know what to do with two three year olds!

Santa Sighting #1

Just attending the neighborhood Christmas party, and you would not believe who decided to stop by.  Mr. and Mrs. Claus.  The kids were so excited.  Santa and Mrs. Claus could not of been nicer.  They took time to sit with each child (and Todd) and then read stories and sang songs.  All the kids at the party ran to the window to see the sleigh, but Santa explained, that he saves that for Christmas Eve, but when he attends parties he just drives his car.

Getting Ready for Christmas 2013

Getting ready for Christmas was a lot of fun.  This year the boys wanted to help and assist with many decorations.  Our tree was a little lopsided, but it was perfect to Dillon and Payson.

It is normal to have Angry Bird Star Wars characters in the nativity set, right?

 So thrilled that cousin Owen has moved back to Colorado, and he could not wait to get out and play in the snow!

December Celebrations

We kicked off December with a Welcome Baby Shower for baby Clayton.  We were thrilled to host so many friends at our house to come meet the newest addition to our group.  Friends from college are just awesome - it doesn't matter how long it has been since we have all hung out - we all still manage to have a great time together!
