Dillon's 3rd Birthday - Lightening McQueen for EVERYONE

The big question is always the same when planning Dillon and Payson's birthday party - do we risk having it outside or do we do something inside.  Dillon asked for a Cars 2 birthday party and after searching pinterest I found so many cute ideas.  We decided to do the party at the house and build a race track for the kids.  Then I decided to create a car for every guest.  Dillon and I spent a day gathering boxes and Todd and I spent two weeks painting the boxes.  Such a project, but they turned out so cute!

 The morning of the party we had most of the decorating completed and then it started to rain, a lot.

 So a quick call to the rec center and the party location was quickly changed!  Thankful for amazing friends to roll with the party changes and neighbors to help get everyone over to the rec center in time.

 Despite the rain, the party was a huge success - Dillon loved being the center of attention and we are so grateful for great friends and family.

Happy Birthday Baby D - we love you - your sense of humor keeps us laughing all day long.  We are so honored to be your Mommy and Daddy!
